We've been processing our Kickstarter backers as surveys come back in (loooots of data entry) as well as delving hard into wrapping up all crucial tasks and bug checks. Oh, and here's something to help tide you over as we continue crunching: We love you guys!
Flight Rising is happy to debut a feature we have been working on behind the scenes for awhile: Flight Dominance! The Flight Dominance system is a way for the various elemental flights to compete against one another for weekly rewards.
Competing is simple: exalt dragons from your lair to send them to the front lines.
Exalted dragons contribute to your flight's army, and the flight with the most exaltations each Saturday will receive a week's worth of special benefits. These benefits are:
- An extra 250 treasure per day
- A 10% discount on all Marketplace merchandise (treasure shops only)
- A +1 boost to every stat of each of your dragons
You can track your flight's ranking live from the Flight Dominance page, which updates each page refresh. The left-side ladder displays how your flight is doing in the race for next week's tally. The right side image indicates which flight is holding dominance for the current week.
Coordinate with other members of your element to push towards dominance; your flight is calling!
I just hope that the elements will have generally equal amounts of active players... I could see the "most popular" element ending on top more frequently than others, while those with low populations could have harder times keeping up. But hopefully it never ends up that way, and Dominance will stay fair game for every element.
